A traditional wood oval picture frame with beautiful beading running along the inside edge, this 2 3/4" frame works well in all settings. This frame is finished in Vintage Walnut, one of the most popular oval frame finishes for over 200 years. This Vintage Walnut frame is hand finished with the same techniques used to create today's antiques, and this frame is a replica of many antique frames still found today. 1. In-line Oval is now using MDF

Posted by The Frame Shop on 19th Dec 2014

We hadn't bought from In-line in about ten years but knew they offered a superior quality product. We decided to special order for a customer who really really wanted an oval frame and was willing to pay for a quality product. Surprise! Surprise! Inline Ovals is now selling MDF frames with a much cheaper looking finish. I actually feel embarrassed. I am really sad about the quality but not surprised. It's the way it goes in today's market. It is a step above the plastic frames sold in craft stores but it's certainly not the quality or look they used to have. What a shame.
